Students, Welcome Aboard!

Sure, this may not be CG, but it is a solid, dynamic pose.

Hi Folks!
All of what's below is really just some blah...  blah... blah... from the college course outline (and I wrote it!)
By the end of April, what I really want for you is: to be excited at how you can make a 3D CG puppet seem like it is thinking, feeling, living!

  See you soon,
  Stephen

Critical Performance
By the end of the course, students will have demonstrated the ability to convey their characters’ distinct personalities through the application of animation principles within a 3D environment.

This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to build on and synthesize the fundamental principles of animation. These principles are integrated through a series of exercises that focus on analyzing the thoughts, feelings and circumstances motivating their characters’ physical movements. Students add to their knowledge of, and refine the skills needed in, the processes involved in the art of performance using 3D CG animation software. Students animate characters engaged in scenarios where they are affected by environmental, physiological, and social variables. Through a series of interactive lectures, workshops and animation exercises, students learn about how particular animated motions portray original characterization.
